Hello,
I like a man who has been divorced since 5 years now. but I just want to know what are the chances that his wife could go back to him...in the law?
I know he does not like her any more...But just want to know the law position for that...

If they are divorced then they would have to get remarried which means he'd have to like her again.

If there were children born out of this marriage the only thing that the X-wife could do in court is take her X back to court to have a modification of child support or maintence done---It's called a POST DIVORCE issue---
Until the children reach the age of 18 the X-wife could do this everytime her X-spouse has a change in circumstances such as a huge raise from his employer and the X-wife gets wind that there is more $$$ to be had.
If the man you're interested in has been divorced for 5 years----I would doubt very seriouly that he is even remotely interested in seeking companionship or committment from his X wife. Follow your heart!

Hello????? If a couple is divorced, it means that they are no longer married...period end of discussion......there is no law about them getting back together and chances are after 5 years they won't ....however, some couples do get back together after they have divorced and some even remarry......it would be up to the two of them....it sounds to me like you are way to young to be dating anyone....good luck

A divorce is forever, just like marriage is supposed to be. The only way to end a divorce is to get remarried.

Divorced means no longer married LEGALLY!
If she wants to get back together with him, legally, they will have to get married again.

Ask him to show the divorce decree to make sure it is through. If it is, his ex will have no connection whatsoever.

there is no law that says you cannot go back to whom you divorced its personal preference .
