To save the uninitiated the trouble of finding out what FWB means, it refers to "Friends With Benefits".

Yeah, I agree that this kind of relationship really messes you up big time. Hard to get over compared to a normal one.

I've watched a close friend of mine go through this. I have never had a relationship like that, and I'm really glad I never did after watching what she went through. She experienced more miscommunication and confusion than I have ever seen in any sort of relationship before. It got so bad that it pretty much took over her life and as a result I can't even be close friends with her anymore.

Yup. I was doing that w/ my ex for about a yr bc it was too hard for us to go out. Then we stopped when I went out w/ my current bf. Yeah it really does mess w/ ur mind. I didn't "remember" how to be a gf. U got the swing of it again but you just get so accostomed to it. I git kinda depressed at certain times during the FWB relationhip w/ my ex. I just wanted a REAL boyfriend so bad.

I don't do FWB relationships, there's certain lines I don't cross with a friend no matter how good of a friend that person is.

not me but the person i was FWB with... he took it harder than i expected when i decided to remain in my relationship and to let him go and b w/ his gf (told him to ). He wanted more than i was able to give and wanted me to leave my relationship for him exclusively...

He was a good friend and we hung out daily b4 the "breakup"

I missed his company, but its a decision i had to make for myself and my significant other.
