My ex girlfriend broke up with me a month ago. She is currently in therapy because her father died 4 months ago and she has low self esteem, is unhappy, she is a nice person but has alot to deal with. She broke up with me after her first visit to the therapist. She said that she was sorry for me having to deal with a crazy person like her and that she thought we had really good potential, but the timing of us sucked because of her. She asked me not to hate her and said she really hoped we could still talk and email and be friends because thats "all she could handle" right now. We never argued and got along great all the time. I think I reminded her of her dad, because I am a traditional guy and get along with everyone like her dad did. I was always understanding of her. So I told her that she did not need to say she was sorry, but i needed time to get over her so I could be a true friend with no hidden intentions. Do you think she was sincere in wanting to be friends with me

Every weekend when most kids are hanging out with friend I have to stay home and babysit my sister .I can't go to parties sleepovers or hang out wit freinds,because my parents are at work and need me to watch her. My sister is a big brat too,and I'm not just saying that she has no friends that is why I never get a break with her going on a play date. I suggest my parents take her to work with them [they own a chain of restraunts and all they do is check up on them],but they refuge . Its not just me it is unfair huh

One marriage proposal came to me,

I cant look at people in the eyes as they pass by me or are next to me at a red light etc..because I feel like everybody will give me evil looks and be offended that Im staring at them, is this true?
Plus other girls give me mean looks for no reason, I am a nice person and I dont understand it.

Been having this problem...
Worrying too much about what others think of me that I feel uncomfortable and talk rreally sloowww around others....trying to find words to please others.

My friends tell me that Im a very slow speaker and this is not the case with close family. With close family, I am lively, and full of confidence. Im a college student. Do you guys suggest I take anti-anxiety pills so that I become more open and be myself or what?
This is ruining my life and I can't take this anymore!!! Cuz naturally Im jus vibrant. In public, Im sooo stiff!

You see, yesterday was one of my friends b-day. Me and her have been droppin hints for each other since the summer. I havent found the rite time to tell her how i feel. I didnt call her yesterday on her b-day b/c i wanted to see if she would be upset and say somethin for not callin her. That way i would know that she was thinking of me and wondering if i was gonna call her.

Do you think i did wrong by not calling her on her b-day? Do you think she will be mad at me? What is one way i can make it up to her if she is mad or upset w/ me?

I have a very stubborn husband who rarely gives me the chance to voice my opinion in an argument, or if I do, he doesn't listen, never looking at me. Recently, we had 2 arguments in the last two weeks. The first one, he had a bad day, and so when we got home he lashed out at me, nitpicking on me and so on. The second one he was trying to fix a table lamp and yelled at me because a: he couldn't find the screwdriver, that I gave back to him cuz it stayed on my table for 3 weeks, and b: cuz it wasn't plugged in. This all seems kind of stupid, and it is, but he is out of control. He never apologizes before we go to bed, and I end up going to sleep in the other room. He is so stubborn he doesn't want to talk about it. How do I calm him down, and get him to argue more fairly? None of this was any of my fault.

My last question stated my 29yr old horrible step-daughter problem, well now she is snooping in my things. My 12yr old caught her when I was not home. And her father was outside. I have kept my mouth shut about all this to her father, because she is such a good liar, and manipulator she would turn it all around on my daughter. I never knew that she was this way before I met my partner. She lived in Calif. and just recently moved here. Her mother is just as bad. So I have 2 forces against me. I am really layed back and a loving, caring person. She even has went as far to let me know that she has successfully run off all of her daddys girlfriends. How can I get her father see what is going on, but by her tripping up and getting cought red-handed in her scheme.
