Of course there are loads of people that lie and just hunt these sites for easy prey,lol...etc but most of us have the odd person that we develop an online relationship with be it just friendly or something else...i suppose my question is ...is there someone that you talk to that you spend more time having good chats with than anyone you connect with in your normal day? and if so...does it strike you as odd or are you quite happy with it?

Ok new years eve party being arranged by my sister - shes invited a woman shes been close friends with for the past number of years (She sent invites out this early to ensure people will get her invite first!)- but this woman says she cant go as she has invited people round for a card game that night.
My sis is MAJORLY ticked off because she cant see why this woman wont just rearrange the card game till another night and come to the party - but my sister is really annoyed as shes helped this lady out several times and often cancelled her own arrangements to take her places.
I say its just this womans loss out on a good night but my sis thinks shes a selfish using old bag now and is quite prepared to let her know this!
Can anyone decide whose right and whose wrong here?!

my partner and i have a child. we live in a large house and have required borders to help financially. however we are now financially secure and the border we have is to old to just say goodbye to. we could wait until he passes but we will have another child at the end of the year. we just want to be family. how do we say good bye to him in a kind way

I had been in love with my boyfriend for more than 6 years. he had also been my childhood pal, and more then love there was this feeling that i cant describe when i was with him.
then one day he died in an accident, and i was the last person he ever spoke to. Its been nearly 4 years now, and i have shed enough tears that it seems i don have any left to cry anymore.
the pain of that memory lingers on and on, and i have tried my best to put this behind me, but i cant, it raises its head in all depressing situations. I have strange feelings of guilt that may be i could have foreseen it somehow and stopped it..
Now everybody wants me to get married but i really dont know if i can ever love again. how can i put this behind me ?

I come from a very strict family backround and having a baby before marriage is a big sin. Im almost 7 months now (not showing) my boyfriend is very supportive and asked me to move in with him. My friend just asked me if i had feelings for his ex girlfriend while they were going out (did i have feelings for his girlfriend when they were dating)... i said no, coz i didnt at all! but i always assumed that he thought i did, so i always tried to stop whatever i was doing. When i said no, he later on told me that he is 50% percent sure that i am telling the truth, so basically mathematically that 50% sure that im lying...
should i be annoyed that he asked me and that he is 50% sure?
like in reguards to issues of trust etc?

ok. my best friend has decided to become a lesbian(i'm the only male exception) but realisically we don't work as a relationship(friendship works well for us with the occasional sex for fun) the catch of the matter is i think i'm falling hardcore for her friend who is mostly straight, who i have fooled around a bit with, in my best friends presence. I rarely get emotionally attracted and attached to someone, and my best friend knows that. I'm quite confused. not sure what to do. I know my best friend would gladly rather be with me, than any girl. But while she is the bestest friend in the world to me, there is no attraction. But is it worth it to go after her friend who wants me(at least physically) and i want her(maybe more than physically), but also but best friend wants her but this other girl is mostly straight. I know it's a mess give me advice please.

I work in a job that is mostly dominated by women so the gossip is very high.

So the other day, a couple of women were talking about another girl that had to go home because she was sick but immediately they started talking about her and passing accusations of her really having a hangover. I have no idea if the girl did have a hangover or if she was sick for real. I do know she did look terrible and didn't look well at well.

This girl also has a history of being out because she is "sick" and/or leaving early for not feeling well. She is also 22.

But the accusations that the other women passed around really made me mad and definately lose a little respect towards them. I felt like saying something but i didn't want to put myself out their like that...I just felt it was wrong because they really do not know if she was sick or not. I just hate two-face people and I can not see how they can work with someone so closely and then turn around and talk about them.

I seperated from my first wife cause she held out too long after our son was born, after 6 years of waiting and asking her to get help I gave up... Now I have a new relationship (37, 1 child) and a I have a deathly fear that the same thing will happen again even though I do my best to keep the interest up.
