My friend just asked me if i had feelings for his ex girlfriend while they were going out (did i have feelings for his girlfriend when they were dating)... i said no, coz i didnt at all! but i always assumed that he thought i did, so i always tried to stop whatever i was doing. When i said no, he later on told me that he is 50% percent sure that i am telling the truth, so basically mathematically that 50% sure that im lying...
should i be annoyed that he asked me and that he is 50% sure?
like in reguards to issues of trust etc?

If you have been a faithful friend, then he should have no reason to doubt you. He should be 100% sure or you would be chasing after her now. Tell your friend it makes you feel bad that he doesn't trust you and that you thought your friendship was stronger than that. PLUS- BIG RULE OF FRIENDSHIP!!! Don't date each others exes. It seems to always cause conflict.

Definitely, be angry. Your 'trustworthyness'(if that's a word!) has been compromised. But do understand as well what your friend must be feeling.
My guess is his ex really had feelings for you and showed this(non-verbally ofcourse) to your friend. So technically the other 50% mistrust is hers, not yours.
Take it easy ;don't lose your friend over a girl.

your best friend should trust you when you said you don't have feelings for his ex. there is no reason for you to lie about it. i can see you value your friendship with this guy. so it is not worth to let this matter affect the both of you.

Sounds like your friend has a problem with some issues and you should question him as to his loyalty as a friend. I'd look elsewhere for friendship if I were you my friend.
