Last week, my teenage son was attacked by another student in class. The teacher didn't know it was happening until another student yelled and threw the attacker off my son. Although my son did not do anything to protect himself other than to protect his head (as we taught him) the teacher made them BOTH sign a statement of fault. Nothing else was done and I didn't find out about it until evening ... after the school was closed.

I just got home from meeting with the Supervision office and their onsite police officer (yes, he's a real cop with our city). My son decided that he wanted the other boy arrested. So, the other boy will be arrested and will be suspended from school for 5 days.

While that's fine, we feel that the teacher should also be reprimanded, but we'll get to that later.

So, has anyone been through this that can give some idea of what to expect next or what I should do to further protect my son. We are already getting a restraining order.

Ok, when she and I got together 6 months ago she told me she had never orgasmed during sex. She said she always faked it & she also told me most women do fake it. If you are with someone, and they almost make you completely happy, but still fall short in other categories, then would it be settling if you stayed with said person, because they are almost perfect for you? If so, then would it be unwieldly to go through life trying to find a "perfect" match for yourself?

My boyfriend and I have been together almost 3 years. Just yesterday he told me that I am smothering him and that I need to get a life of my own. So... I'm avoiding him. I'm not going to answer his calls, and even though my birthday is on wednesday, I don't want him around me unless it's his decision. I work hard during the day, and go to school nights. Every minute of time that I get, I want to spend it with him. Is that wrong? I love him, and would spend the rest of my life with him in a heartbeat, but why doesn't he want to spend time with me, like I do with him? Anyway, if he needs "space", then I'll give him space, the question is am I doing the right thing in putting so much distance between us, or am I just making things worse?

I am a freshman [[i no probably too young to be asking]] and i am good friends with alot of juniors and senior bc they are more mature than guys my age. My dilemna: My wife's birthday is coming up and I am not sure what to get her. We have been married for 11 years and she has all the diamonds, pearls, rubies, emeralds, saphire, gold and silver jewelery that she wants and said more would be a no no. She has told me that she doesn't want DVD's, TVs, dinner out or anything out for that matter, no candy, flowers or anything else that would be a waste. She has a new car, we have a new house and lots of stuff. she wants nothing material. Now that I know what she doesn't want, I don't know what to get her. I could give her money but it is hers also anyways. She has let me know that if I get her something she doesn't want she will be upset (and I have experienced that many times). My wife also tells me that she doesn't want anything. We have money, that is not an issue.

OK...heres the deal...Me & my boyfriend have been together for 5 months now & i have been living with him for 2 months....he drives me crazy because he gets mad over such little things & we fight & argue just about EVERYDAY!!! I have 7 yr old twins & I'm ready to have another one. My b/f & I live together & the relationship is very solid. We have had 2 pregnancy scares over the past 3 months & we've talked alot about the possibility of more kids(my twins are not his). We got excited about the possibility of having a baby so I know if it happened, it'll be a good thing. I then feel guilty after my period starts, when I tell him that I want to have a baby. He would like to wait a few years if possible-& I don't entirely disagree but how do I tell him I want to have another baby before I'm 30(I'm 28, he's 27)& I don't want to start over in my 30s? I know I have two years left but I also don't want the age gap between my twins & any other kids to be bigger than it already will be. Also, my bio-clock is ticking--tick- tock, tick-tock. Any longer & I'm not sure I even want to start over again. Idealistically, I want to wait til we're married but the itch is now & I would like to scratch it. What to do? Help!!

How long has the person been married for?
