Ladies, what would you do? I am open to all suggestions. At my age, 40 something, I have zero family members, young or old, except my 3 children, and no friends who live close enough to attend a wedding. I did not have a wedding with my first husband and would really like to do "something" this time around that is worth taking some photos of! He has family and friends to invite, l literally have 3 people to send an invite to and I already know 2 of those won't come the distance. He would like a ceremony, too.

If we do a traditional church wedding there will be 100 people on the groom's pews and probably 2 on mine... ugh! Is there a way around this? Different setting, venue layout, I'm willing to listen.
Thanks ahead for any advice, I want to enjoy the day not have it rubbed in my face there is no one there who even knows me.
ps- My 3 children would be the two bridemaids and an usher, that is my total contribution to the wedding "party".

I know this guy. He is very cute, sweet, smart, and an awesome guy, but. . . he is too shy.Just yesterday, he shook my hand, he held it tightly and quickly let go and turned his face when he realized I was lokking at him. This morning, I told him that I wanted to take a picture with him, and he just kept going around in circles with his words, and then he went off to work and didn't have time for the pictures.He has an email, I got it (he didn't give it to me, but I got it) and he said he doesn't want me to have it,because I don't know he's shy.He also claims he doesn't like girls, but I'm sure he does.He is so shy that when our eyes meet, he keeps on staring and looking at my eyes with such an admiration look, and then quickly changes the subject.I don't know if I like him or not, because he ignores me for a couple of days, and then talks again, it's like a cycle.Any suggestions on what I should do, on whether or not I should like him,whether he likes me or not.Please, no mean answers

My daughater has a severe phobia of sharp objects, particularly knives. She is 10 years old and won't touch a sharp knife of any kind. She backs away with tears in her eyes if I even pull out a paring knife to cut an apple or something for her for a snack. She's been like this since she was 3 years old. I think it has to do with her daddy (my ex) pointing a sword at her while he was getting ready to go to Renaissance Faire when she was around 3. I think he was trying to show it to her, but since then she's been a complete mess around sharp objects. Any ideas folks???

I was in love with a high school sweetheart 20 years ago. After a year of long distance college we broke up. When I tried going back to him a year later he was with someone else. We kept in touch sporadically and then lost touch. Now, 15 years since our last meeting I accidentally found we live in the same state. We are now both married with children with no intention of leaving our spouses and families...however I was suprised to find I have strong feelings for him still and I think he might be "the one." He says that I was his first true love of three major romances, his wife being the third. He very much wants for us to be friends, introduce our families and keep in touch because as he says I reman "dear" to him. He knows I would have an affair with him if he asked, which is sad but my heart is what it is. My question is, is he trying to keep his options open? While alone with him, you tell him you like sports after he mentions that he loves sports. She mentions how she does not hit guys. When I was in Disneyland I noticed how wonderful it would be if everyone was naked, so when I got home, I decided to become a nudist. When my kids ( 11, 10, 5 years old ) came home from shcool I was sitting on the couch nude. They were shocked, but I told them to undress and they gave me resistance. So I tore the skirt off of my daughters and jeans off of my son. They started crying and stuff, but I think they're more comfortable now that my wife is nude too. My kids friends came over and we were all sitting nude having dinner, I think they thought we were cool and very hip. Do you think schools should have a no clothes option for people with liberal attitudes ?
