Well if your trying to get Married in the Spring I would say that May would be a good time, If yout rting to get Married in the Summer July and August are like the top months for Weddings, and for the Fall Oct or Early November, and of course the greatest time New Year's Eve always makes for a wonderful Celebration and New Year's Eve Bash. Congratulations to you and I wish you much success in your planning.

first of all CONGRATULATIONS!

it should be when you want it.

but if you ask Me June will be the perfect month or September. those months are mild weather months. so you can wear a more comfortable wedding dress and not have to worry having to cover up when it's cold and get naked when it's too hot. and your guest will also be comfortable.

depending on how elaborate the wedding will be. i've heard that you now need at least 1 1/2-2 years to book banquet halls and churches. so you better decide soon if you want to be married by next year.

and try not to stress yourself out too much. your planning your big day here, you should be happy and make it memorable. get yourself one of those wedding organizers. they help a bit.

enjoy trying on wedding gowns!

good luck and best wishes!

Well, do you want an outdoors ceremony or an indoor one? If you want it outdoors consider the climate of where you live. Do you have many people travelling from out of town? If so, you may want to pick a holiday weekend when people will have the extra day off work. It's not something to be stressed about! In terms of what date-many times it is cheaper to get married during the week as opposed to the weekend. Halls, caterers, photographers, etc may charge less.

Are there any dates that mean something to you? My husband and I got married on the anniversary of the first day we talked online. It was cute, actually, because on our one year wedding anniversary we'd known each other exactly twice as long as we'd been married. =)

Other than that, 7/7/7 is going to be popular. If you want to do that, start booking things now.

Avoid the major holidays. Don't mess up other couples' Valentine's day plans and make them go to your wedding instead of be together.

Look at dates of other things in your family and see if one of them matches up to the day of the week you want in the year you want. My husband and I got married on his brother's birthday (for the reason I said above), my parents got married on his dad's birthday, our one month wedding anniversary was on my parents wedding anniversary, and his parents got married like two days before my dad's birthday. It's kind of tradition to steal dates from each other in our families! Our anniversary is also like two days off my grandpa's anniversary, which I didn't know until afterward. I think it would have been cute to share an anniversary with my grandparents, if we didn't already have a meaning for the date we picked.

Im enganged with no wedding plans yet but hope to get married on July 7, 2007. Then my anniversary will be 7, 7, 07 and everyone knows that 7 is a lucky number :)

plus its warm in the summer and this date is really easy to remember :)

With all the other answers out there I bet you are really confused now! Go through each month and write down the pros and cons, ie. too many birthdays on that month, my parent's anniversary is on that month, Christmas, generally bad weather month etc... Then choose a date, it'll be easier if you choose a Saturday date then see whether you like the month with the number....that's how I did it anyway...good luck.
By the way, I got married 9-9-06.

Between 26-30 December... because it shall be less expensive -- you shall have fewer guests -- only the close family members and friends would attend, others would be away for holidays. Moreover, you will have holidays in hand too and you two can zip off to honeymoon without having to take leave from your work. Finally, because of the cold weather, you will love to be together most intimately for more time than at any other time of the year.

I was watching the news the other day, and they said that 07/07/07 is going to be the most popular date for weddings next year. Apparently, June is the most popular month.

As for me the best date was October 23rd that is when i got married 14 years ago today. Fall weddings seem to be the best because of the weather, not to hot not to cold, i loved my fall wedding. Congratulations on your engagement

What ever works for you - think about when it would be easiest for people to travel etc. If you have a wedding where you want to rent a facility for a reception, the availability may dictate the date.
