The key to a happy long distance relationship is to have NO EXPECTATIONS. If you want to go visit him, go! But go because YOU want to go have fun with the guy for whatever time it last. Don't go thinking, "if I do this, then he'll do that" or "if I go it means this and because of that he should react like this".

Don't weigh down the long distance relationship with talk of "commitment". That kills more long distance relationships than anything else. As you get to know the guy you'll mutually discover if you want to be exclusively with each other. But don't expect both of you to come to that decision at the same time. Do not agree to commit to him just because he asks, just do it if you feel like it. Don't ask him to 'commit' to you either. You've got to be willing to let each other lead single lives when you're not together.

I met my wife on a SCUBA trip in Belize. She lived in Denver and I lived in Atlanta. We dated for three years without any expectations. We went into the relationship with the commitment that neither of us would allow ourselves to EXPECT anything of the other. It would last until one of us didn't want it to last anymore. After three years, I moved to Denver and a year later we were married.

It can work.

You speak to one another every day (in case you have a webcam you notice every different too), after which manipulate to come back in combination as as a rule as feasible; at least one time each three-four weeks; however, primary: you ought to be real in love with every different, and feature typical long run plans and objectives to be accomplished in a fairly quick interval of time, seeing that an extended-distance dating can not final too lengthy;) Mine's operating even though we are living in two distinctive international locations, as he will be relocating in with me in a few months;)

Tough decision it depends on how you feel about him.If you love him enough to work it out go ahead. If not end it b/c long distance relationships require a ton of commitment I was in one for a year. The distance didn't cause it to end the eventual lack of commitment did.
