distance is the factor

Ok this is'nt that big a deal but basically I have a friend coming over later who I used to go to school with and just now she texted me to ask if another friend could also come as well. But the problem is that I don't get on with her (the other friend) at all and I don't know how to say politely to my friend that I don't want the other girl to come!! What should I say so as not to offend my friend???!!!! Also because my phone is broken I can't text her so I would have to call her and tell her it directly!!!
Thank you!

My brother has done some pretty bad stuff to our entire family, stealing money from my parents, not paying rent and stealing all of our food when I let him move in and didnt have much money myself, not to mention choking me when I was little among other abuses. Anyway, I looked past it, hes my brother. He sat at home while my baby was sleeping, we could have had another babysitter, but all he had to do was call us if he woke up and we would come right home, one night, and he needed the use of the computer anyway. Well he left my baby in the house to go get beer, doors unlocked, on a Saterday night. I was furious and disowned him. I have made this decision but when we get together with our family (who believe he should be forgiven) I need to be cool and I want to be. How do I handle the situation? How do I not feel guilty when I see my brothers sad face?

You are 16-17 and your sister is 14. She has been blaming and yelling at you that she doesn’t have as much privacy as you did when you were 14. When you were 14, your parents signed her up to a afterschool homework program from 3-6. Therefore, you had the house to yourself for 3 hrs. Now she is 14 and don’t get the house to herself for 3 hrs and expect you to not be home from 3-6 so she can have the house to herself for 3-6. You refuse because it wasn’t your fault that she had to be in a afterschool program. She say “You are a unfair sister. If I had a little sister, I would give her privacy when she want it. I will be a very understanding big sister, unlike you.” You feel bad about it because she is your sister, you love her and don’t want her to get upset. You are a sister that love her the most, would do anything for her to be happy and want more than ever for her to say you are a fair and nice person. Would you leave the house from 3-6 just so that she would be happy?

i was talking to this close male friend online last night (no he's not a stranger, he's a legit friend) and he said something to me in one go which i couldnt understand....something very unusual

this is pretty much what he said:

"got to go now, love you...if i could i would.....but i cant....because....doesnt matter - bye"

Now im starting to think he's being a little....odd - i mean he never says "love you" when he's leaving a convo ever!

Okay, i think im being paranoid and i should drop it....What do you think?

We were good friends but I fell for him. We ended up sleeping together, but nothing changed between us though I wanted more. The other night, I couldn't take it anymore. We were both a little tipsy and I called him and I told him I didn't want us to be friends anymore, that it was too hard bc I have grown to care for him so much, and it's better for me if he wasn't in my life. I told him not to call me anymore. I guess he doesn't care for me that way bc if he did, he wouldve said so or he wouldve called me by now. It's been 3 days. I know it's best to not speak to him if he doesn't love me back, and I got what I asked for. I don't regret what I said and I have nothing else to say to him. Well, today is his b-day. I cared for him alot and I thought maybe I should send him a text just saying happy birthday so he knows I didn't do this to be a complete b**** and that I don't have hate for him. Should I do this or just let it be?

It was a wild party that went out of control. Several of my friends got very friendly with the stripper as did I – we had some alone time. I’m a little worried that word of what happened will get to my fiancé. He knows some, but not all. Really looking for answers from other with like experiences.

Even after we caught our parteners having an affair and got most the facts(we think) still waste our time looking for evidence, via the phone bill,or internet? What is it going to achieve? If more evidence comes up will it make the cheated feel better? why waste our times or more hurt on the family arguing? is this a normal response? is there anyone else out there who has done this. and then felt like they have let themselfs down by showing the cheater they even cared?

I don't want to be at college anymore, my friends have either gone to a different college or unniversity. The only reason i am still ehre is because I liked this guy and I can't talk to him. Too shy. Also whenever I look at him I always look really angry. Plus I'm sick of sitting in the stupid lessons and feeling left out. Should I leave college? Or is that too much of a ridiculous reason. Plus how do you talk to someone. Can you talk to somneone half way through the year after never talking to them before? If so what about? I'm so confused.

This question also includes lesbians as well; please be honest. If a physical fight has occured (even once), please describe WHY you did it, if she fought back after that, and the final outcome: legal/love/other. Almost every damn man I've ever asked has always said they have -never- and would NEVER hit a woman back; but I know from experience that men don't want to admit they are jerks for manhandling their woman. Be a man and admit it!

TWENTY DOLLARS

On their wedding night, the young bride approached her new husband and asked
for $20.00 for their first lovemaking encounter.

In his highly aroused state, her husband readily agreed.

This scenario was repeated each time they made love, for more
than 30 years, with him thinking that it was a cute way for her
to afford new clothes and other incidentals that she needed.

Arriving home around noon one day, she was surprised to find
her husband in a very drunken state.

During the next few minutes, he explained that his employer
was going through a process of corporate downsizing, and he had
been let go. It was unlikely that, at the age of 59, he'd be able
to find another position that paid anywhere near what he'd been
earning, and therefore, they were financially ruined.

Calmly, his wife handed him a bank book which showed more than
thirty years of steady deposits and interest totaling nearly $1
million.

Then she showed him certificates of deposits issued by the
bank which were worth over $2 million, and informed him that they
were one of the largest depositors in the bank.

She explained that for the more than three decades she had
"charged" him for sex, these holdings had multiplied and these
were the results of her savings and investments.

Faced with evidence of cash and investments worth over $3
million, her husband was so astounded he could barely speak, but
finally he found his voice and blurted out, "If I'd had any idea
what you were doing, I would have given you all my business!"

That's when she shot him.

You know, sometimes men just don't know when to keep their mouths shut!

When I complain about that, he told me face to face that his friends are much more important to him than me just because they help him with money when he need it, me am not. But when he needs sex he came to me! I asked him to go and have sex with his friends because they are special to him. Am I wrong? Please help me.

A few weeks back, my boyfriend and I had this huge fight and slipped up that it's over. When I wanted to recant what I said, he then said it was over (we've dated for almost 3 years though it was semi long distance). I wanted to work through my problems but he didn't want to.

I wanted to take a little break to see if he will come around but then I met this guy who is too good to be true. He and I went out a few times and already he's done some much in the few dates we had than what my ex and I did throughout the relationship. He already making me forget my ex and if it continues, I'm going to fall for him.

The other night, my ex left a message saying he does misses me, still loves me but needed some time because he's hurt. But during the period, I noticing the small things and wondering if I can tolerate it again. I still love him but not too sure if I should take him back.

So my question is... should I continue to pursue what I have with the new guy or take the ex back?

I feel like somebody's unplugged me, deflated and empty. Got two kids that miss their daddy, hate every day life without him. Just miss him like mad.
And that's only the start. Soon he'll be going away for 7 months, to Iraq, over the christmas period...I am dreading it.
