I have 8 yrs now staying with my boyfriend. But he likes his friends much more than me. When I complain about that, he told me face to face that his friends are much more important to him than me just because they help him with money when he need it, me am not. But when he needs sex he came to me! I asked him to go and have sex with his friends because they are special to him. Am I wrong? Please help me.

Men and women are two different species. Of course he comes to you for sex. The fastest way to break up a relationship is to take away his friends and I bet he tells you they are more important during a heated argument. Give him some space, spend some time with your friends. He will start showing you more respect when you show some independence. YOU are the only one that can find happiness and peace for yourself. Stop relying on others for satisfaction.

No I don't think you were wrong, your b/f was wrong. He obviously lack sensitivity for even telling you something like that to your face. Honestly, if my b/f told me his friends were more important and then came to me for sex, I would have told him the same thing. It's wrong for him to treat his friends like royalty just because they help him with money. Is that what's really important to your b/f? I don't think I would have the strength to stay with someone like this. If leeching off of his friends for money is more important than him showing you how special you are, then maybe he doesn't need you after all. I would hint around about leaving him and then see what his reaction is. If he acts as if he doesn't care, give him a reality check and leave. If he does show he cares, then explain to him that things need to improve between the two of you.

I think you already know the answer to questions you've asked in your post. You are just seeking confirmation. You have wasted 8 years of your life - you've made an investment in a person and there is no "pay back" in sight. You know that you need to leave this relationship but you also know that you don't believe that you can do any better than this man. But the truth is that you being alone would be ten times better than being with this person who obviously has no respect for you and gives no value to your relationship.
If you stay with him you have no right to complain or cry because you already know all the above to be true.

Good for you I like it "Go and have sex with your friends" good on you for saying that and congratulations as you have shown him the first time I guess you are not the push over he is taking you for. Keep it up and make sure he gets the message.

The best thing you can do is tell him to go and live with his friends and not to bother returning to you. He will never change and has no interest in you only as a means of gratifying his needs. I suggest you get a life and get out there and find yourself a decent man not this Neanderthal.

Hey if he told you straight up his friend was most important ,then you need to move on ,,how awful of him to say this .Not only did he say he dont love you he said more or less he is using his friends ,hon you deserve better ,find you a nice man .this one sounds cruel .8 years of your life for what do you want to waste more of your life .leave him and be on your own .dont worry with his attitude he wont keep a woman .good luck .

hellooooooo - hes basically told you that you are down his list of priorities - in a relationship you should be number one.
Sure friends are very important and you need to spend time with them, but your partner deserves that extra bit of attention.
This guy is a loser- dump him and find yourself a REAL man that can step up to the plate and treat you right.

I think after 8yrs together you could try seeing things from his point of view really.
Then kick him out on his fecking **** and see how good is friends are then. Sounds like a **** to me.
