You answered your own quesiton, in part. You are in a depressive cycle right now. Feeling like "damaged goods" causes you to seek out women who are of low quality. You will only fuel the depression and substance abuse with these relationships. You need to be under the care of a Psychiatrist, first and foremost. You need to treat your body as your number-one asset. You cannot compromise on the care of your body and mind. You will not be in a healthy relationship until you get medicated and establish a consistent track record of caring for yourself. No good person wants to take the risk of getting caught up in your abusive and manic cycles. You can't blame them. We all need to be responsible for ourselves if we want to win the respect, trust and admiration of someone else. Seek help, immediately. All the best to you.

Suicide may seem to be an easy way to deal with things, but I'm sure there are people who would be upset if you were to do something like that. I suggest that you phone a crisis center and talk to some one there. You may need some medication to help you with the depression. It could be just as simple as needing an antidepressent to replace a chemical that your body isn't producing. Don't shut out everyone though that isn't healthy so they tell me. If you don't have control over your problem it will effect every aspect of your life including work, and relationships with people who are close to you. Don't normally do this, but if you need someone who understands the problem to talk to, e-mail me at...l_mcneil05@yahoo.ca and I'll be willing to talk and help you figure out what to do to get help. Don't do anything drastic please....

You need to stop drinking, that is the cause of all your problems. Girls don't really like psycho drunk guys. The only reason I would think she was cheating on you is to get you mad or get even with you from all the stuff you have put her through. First seek help, you might need therapy and then once you are sure of who you are and treat your mental illness you will find someone who would love you and appreciate you for who you are. You need to seek help before its too late, if you really want to settle down and find the right person you should realy do this for yourself. Once you take of these issues you are going to find someone who is going to love you as much as you love them

that's a really hard question. it runs in my family, so i have been told that i have it. manic/bipolar. they tried to give me all sorts of anti-depression pills and i wasn't happy with any of them. so i went out and got a meditation CD, its been working so far. you shouldn't dwell on these things, its making it worse. take care of yourself. there's plenty of good woman out there, just dont rush into another relationship too fast, it makes the depression wworse.

Roy,
It sounds very serious.
You might want to cut out the drinking
and see if that helps.
I've had these thoughts before. The wake of pain left to the ones who love you is very painful.
You sound like you want help so seek it out.

Sounds like you are a little too nice to the girl. All of us are not like that though. Too much alcohol probobly adds to the depression. Try something new. You look like you have alot going for you.

there are many many psychiatric treatments and psycho therapies for manic-depressive conditions. but the most effective one comes from within....you have to have the will power to overcome it. and most importantly, you need to find your passion in life so you have things that keep you going(for the positive things)

You cant be friends with an ex, especially one that cheated. Why would you want to be.

As far as your other issues, get professional help (if you are serious).
