My wife has been out oftown for a few days and I want to do something romantic for her when she gets back. I want to have "it" waiting for her when she gets home. Any ideas?

How romantic do you want to be ?
The romantic meal is ok, but you could add a bit more, have your favourite music playing, the table all set out, candles everywhere, rose petals in a trail from the front door into the living room, where you are sat with a glass of wine, suited and booted looking devine and smelling good and with a very large bouquet of flowers and a great big smile.
oh and the biggest thing do not forget this one, MAKE SURE THE HOUSE IS **** AND SPAN...

Have a nice romantic dinner with all the good china, her favorite meal.
Some really nice music playing in the background.
A dozen red roses setting in a vase.
All so have the house cleaned before she gets home so that she doesn't have any thing to pick up.
Hire a baby sitter or have family keep the children over night, if you have any children.

I would think if she came home to a clean house that would be a wonderful surprise!! A nice meal, flowers, candlelight, a warm bubble bath, champagne, sound good, too. Maybe it's a common thing, but what more could she want to come home to than all of these things and someone who cares enough to have them there for her!!

could be any number of things you could do. you could suprise her with the cutest puppy you could find if you already don't have a dog. you could have a beautiful candle lit dinner at home where you can ask her to marry you again (only if you've been married for over 10 years or more lol) you can fill your home with lots of beautiful flowers and tell something like: i got the most beautiful flowers for my most beautiful angel. you could also take her to one of your special spots that you two had when you first started seeing each other, and reminisce about all the great times you've had over the years.

Sparkling kitchen. A new silk nightie.
Candlelight and nice smells.
a hot bubblebath waiting.
do some of her chores if you can so she can have a break.
carry in her suitcases.
carry her over the threshold.
soft music and slow dance with her in the living room.
or just let her take a nap if she is tired.

do u cook?if yes..prepare a home cook steak for her.candlelight dinner..of course with wines and soft music..then have a dance..and it happens..of course some sweet flowery scent do boost up thew atmosphere
