There is no way to know how long it will take or when it will come. I once met a girl because I got on the wrong bus. The whole thing turned me upside down and inside out before it was over and that was just because I got on the wrong bus!
One thought: I know you have been waiting, but how much have you been looking? Have you tried some of the dating sites? Do you have any hobbies and such? Groups that you are a part of or could become a part of? The more people you meet and interact with, the better the odds of hitting it off with one of them.
I do wish you luck! I have been there and done that! (Bought the T shirt too.) It's no fun.

No. To find anything you have to search for it. Sitting there waiting for it to fall into your lap just won't happen. Sometimes while we are searching for love it comes along when you least expect it, a glance across a Supermarket aisle and a smile. The person who meets eye contact with you whilst walking in the street. You've got to grasp the moment, even if it turns out that your wrong, they may be already in a relationship or you've misread the signs, just apologise and say that you had to try. But unless you seize the moment, you'll always wonder. Seize that moment. Asking someone if they would like to have a coffee with you isn't that difficult. It's confidence you need and don't be afraid of rejection.

Not always, and it certainly won't come knocking at your door.....if you want love you have to find it, sometimes it comes and sometimes it doesn't it all depends on how a person deals with their relationships, we might even lose the love of our life through our actions....So if you don't mind waiting any longer, then wait, or just look around and maybe you'll find someone!! Good Luck

Well, "Welcom to my world, Camilla!!!" I'm in the same boat... I think, maybe we're too "Old school" atleast I am.. I am afraid to date anyone, who I dont know from people, I do know... Every man I've ever dated, I knew, through someone.. And I've never been a "Bar or nightclub" person.... And , I haven't gone to church, in along time.. So, where do you meet guys, when you dont do either of these things. I do have my eye on this one guy at school, however.. but, I dont know if he's married, or not.. We had an assignment together last friday, in class.. And he and I had alot in common.. just talking about our assignment, we both wanted to make the same sort of investment , should we ever get the "Funds" it was like we "clicked" but he seemed "Partial" of this one girl who sat in front of us, who obviously, had sat next to him before, because they knew one another, but, she mentioned being married.... So..I dont know about Love coming to those who wait.. I think we have to pursue it too. just a little anyway.. I've been single now, since I devorced, my "Toxic-Ex-husband" three years ago... and I'm ready to date, outside the home.. Only because I dont want to confuse my kids, you know.. Well, Good-Luck, to you!!! Smile, someone will come along when you least expect it !!! For both of us!!!

I was feeling a bit like that, then one night I was out on a drunken girly night out and ended up kissing this really cute guy. It turns out that I went to Primary School with him (hadnt seen him since) and we have been together for 4 yrs now. It just shows that someone will come along and it will be when u least expect it!

It will come it will come, but you have to go out and be social. Accept invites, travel, form an interest group. You have to be a little active about it. It won't come if you just sit around and wait.

Your time will come when you work on getting to know who you are personality wise. The best thing guys/girls go for is someone who is not extremely insecure. THis is coming from experience. ANd go shopping to find something that looks good on you to bring some confidence.
