Why does it hurt?? Well i wish i knew, i think weve all been there....been in love with someone who is unavailable whether it be distance wise, romantically emotionally, physically whatever......it hurts because the one thing we feel emotionally strongest about we cant have, and eventually we all either have to concede that we will never have what we want, and move on or hold on with our entire beings, and be there for that person, until we either die inside ourselves, or acctually get it.........

It is the bonding impulse, gone somewhat awry. It should not really HURT, unless you get rejected by the object of your affection. Think of the past when there was not mail, or phone, or computers, people courted across vast distances with just snail mail, sometimes it would take weeks or months to get the letters to them. Think before there was any organized mail delivery....it takes patience, then it takes more patience.

Buy a thin journal, and write in it by hand, every day your feelings for them. When it is full, mail it to her, and begin another. Somehow the feelings you write by hand are so much more dear. She can save them to show to your grandchildren someday!

hey man i know it sucks when you can't ahve some one you love. Expessially if there is som ereason you can't have any chance at all of having this person. I think if you really care about her then try to find a way that you could live near her or she can leive near you. if money is the factor then save you and her save your money untill you have enough

If you really want to be with someone, and that someone wants to be with you...Both of you will do the impossible to be together. Distance is definetly not something that you cannot overcome

i have face this also.i think its is nature..god design us to have feelings just like anger, happy, sad, and of cuz heart broken when sum1 u luv doesnt luv u.u cant avoid unless u dun luv her..there r of cuz ways to minimise the hurt..but the deeper u luv her..the more time u need to recover..try meditation or get involved in more social activities to forget about th epain.its juz like an injury that needs time to recover, however it just lies in the heart.:)

It's called life. Like the Rolling Stone song says, "You can't always get what you want".

It hurts because "we can't have them", just human nature at it's best. We always want everything we want when we want it.

Just because you want to love and be loved, I guess. That's hard to do when you're so far away from eachother.

It doesn't just hurt, it actually kills. The worst pain in the world if you ask me.

I think it's ego. We always want what we can't have all the more, because we can't have it.
