By raising energy related taxes using the guise of global warming as the excuse, politicians are taxing the less well off disproportionately. Wouldn't a fairer idea be that we all be rationed so that no one can use more energy than another.
It might even be possible to trade unused energy rations.

The most fundamental claim of the global warming theory is that rises in co2 leads to a rise in temperatures. The ice samples taken from antarctic shows that temperature rises or falls and then co2 levels follow. In other words co2 follows temperatures and not the other way round. Read links here:

Any physicists check this? If industry puts ~ 7GT of CO2 into the air each year, how many GT do 6X10*9 humans?. Assuming CO2 is at ~ 0.71 g/m3 at STP and humans breathe ~ 0.5l 40 times a minute then the annual total would be (in GT)?

For years, we have been noticing Mars and other planets warming up too. Did we send some humvees to Mars?

I am a scientist myself so don't waste your typing (or more likely, cutting and pasting) of global warming hype. I have read it all before.

The "noise" in support of human-caused global warming is louder than ever. The "science" behind it is getting thinner all the time, however. The better and more complete the data gets, the more it falls apart.

btw I do not advocate trashing our planet. But I also don't advocate change through uninformed panic.

Recently news coverage has been interested in whether or not our UK local authorities will collect refuse one week and recycleable materials another week. A lot of people seem to be against this.

In our house we recycle everything we can through the bins the council provide, though cannot recycle plastics or cardboard that way. These we have to take to the local Tesco when we do our weekly shopping.

Rather than having loads of waste piling up in the black bin, the problem we have is that every week our recycling bin is overflowing!

So, is fortnightly waste collection practical or is the UK population just too lazy to recycle?

I have to create an ecological study for a class, and im doing the effects of nutrients on fish eggs. Where are fish eggs most commonly found in a still body of water, i.e. a lake. Or, better yet, is there a practical way to control where fish lay their eggs without doing a separate experiment with tanks or the like?
