The most fundamental claim of the global warming theory is that rises in co2 leads to a rise in temperatures. The ice samples taken from antarctic shows that temperature rises or falls and then co2 levels follow. In other words co2 follows temperatures and not the other way round. Read links here:

How does the ipcc account for this?

As far as I know the ipcc dodges that data. They are assuming, quite reasonably in my opinion, that if co2 levels get high enough they WILL cause warming. And everybody, even the oil companies, agrees that co2 is already at levels higher than any recorded in the last 400,000 years and rising rapidly. And the rate of increase is increasing. While the effects may not be serious yet, at some point they will be. My opinion is that no serious effects will occur for at least 100 years or more, even at the rate of increase in the rate of increase we are seeing. In particular I do not see any serious effects yet. Some melting ice is not a serious effect. There are not more storms, droughts or other bad weather than were seen hundreds of years ago. One bad year, or even 10, is no proof, especially if it is followed by a good year. Climate is a century long kind of thing,.

CO2 is both a forcing and a feedback. Variations in Earth's orbit (such as the Milankovitch Cycles) cause the oceans to heat up, and so they start releasing CO2, which then adds to the warming. It's a typical feedback.

It's very deceptive to say CO2 follows temperature, because while it's true that CO2 did not trigger the warmings, it quite obviously did contribute.

The facts as you present them are not in doubt.

The wool that is being pulled over your eyes so successfully by big business - oil and energy industries - is the denial of the insane rise that we have seen in the last 200 years.

There is complete and utter consensus amongst the scientific community that our industrial age is responsible. There is NO doubt. Where the doubt comes from is peddled by the media and governments, which are controlled by big business. Of 938 peer reviewed scientific journals, not one doubted the causes of climate change. Of 636 media articles, 53% doubted the cause. I know who I'm going to believe out of those two!

Remember what the Tobacco industry said about smoking cigarettes? That they aren't harmful?? Look at what we know now!!! The vehicle and energy industries in the US want you - or rather NEED you - to believe what they are telling you through the lies and half truths that are being peddled by the media. Like Fox.

Wake up!

Very easily, but it's too long to post (basically it involves feedback from nature). Read it here:
