I bought a tubular pipe which is to be used only as drain outlet for my lavatory in the toilet, and what i bought is a plastic that that warns consumers that the product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm, and still why they are manufacturer continued to sell this kind of product if it is toxic.

There's hardly a substance in the world that doesn't have a Prop. 65 warning: this legislation is a huge money-maker for some California lawyers. The same nonsense brought about recalls of venetian blinds a few years ago, wherein it was proven that if you suck on a piece of your blinds for a couple of years, you could get cancer.

The toxic warning message is a result of one of the most moronic initiatives that California voters have ever passed. By its standards, almost everything is toxic. Ignore it, and get on with your life.
