I'm w/ you. There has been a lot of talk about cleaning up our environment and addressing air pollution. It should start @ the DMV,Implement a Vehicle Modification Program. Get your vehicle modification kit the same time your auto is registered. Yeah, that's the ticket!

We have adopted a life of materialistic.....
The gaseous layer covering the Earth's surface. It is constituted mainly of nitrogen (78.1%) and oxygen (20.9%). The remaining 1% is made of various gases - the major one is argon (0.9%), others are ozone, carbon dioxide, methane, sulfur dioxide, water vapor.
The present scenario is not that i hope with the atmosphere......with the pollution levels increased in all sectors....as the world is moving rapidly in technology and same way rapidily increasing the pollution.....who cares the healthy environment,as the countries are fighting for the superiority over the other or the threat from the neighbouring ......any way i feel that we should show the concern atleast now.....
all the best

The biggest problem is our EGO. We humans think we are the best and can override nature and gods work. We humans are not at all considerate and have become more materialistic. Earlier cultures used to think n ot only about themselves but of coming generations and sustainability and sustainable living was a very important factor which used to guide our ancestors but now it is not so.
If we start thinking about sustainable living certainly we will be able to leave something better for our future generations.

Why should we? We owe nothing to the generations to follow. Let them make their own mistakes. We have prevented the use of efficient refrigerants such as R-12, banned the safest pesticide ever discovered, DDT, and prevented new nuclear fission plants from being built. All this in the name of 'environmentalism' based on junk science. Science has been perverted for political gain and the results are long lasting. It's becoming pretty obvious that the people leading the charge into the new dark age call themselves 'environmentalists'. Perhaps we should rename them 'anti-environmentalists'.

maybe many peoples focus is on heaven in the sky
which can be experienced after death and is the most beautifull place
not whilst alive in the paradise we got down here
the culture has made millions insensitive to nature
preaching to them that the wilderness should be civilized ,that animals have no soul ,that we are nothing to do with them and are superior ,(even though our bodies are constucted just about in the same way from the same material)
that Natures gifts are free for the taking and so people loose respect as they always do when something is given.
and the lack of education which is that we need nature for our climate ,air water ,food ,building materials ,in short our very existance depends on it
and that we live in a closed Environment of interelated eco systems ,all flora and fauna is intimately linkend by the medium of water ,because 99 molecules out of a 100 ,of most living things,is water on the move .
we really all are one ,but few modern people are aware of it
the many people who i have met who were comitted into caring for Nature were Pagan minded people
and those who respected it most were the indigenous primative peoples who still had their old religions
or Native Americans who remembered and apreciated their Grandfathers attitudes
as well
as well as many school children who have not yet been altered by society

During Industrial revolution western countries wanted to take advantage of non developed countries by selling their products to them and make money and did not care about the negative impact all industries had on environments. Now they want all countries to cut their greenhouses gases equally.Developing countries can not afford to comply with it while keeping their growth rate up too.As a matter of fact America still do not want to participate in it.You can call it selfishness or real side of capitalism.

Because humans wants to modify and alter the whole parts of the environment to make more place for the industrial works and living places because of more population.
i think because of population and the money we have forgetten to take care of the environment but it is causing harm to us by unhealthy atmosphere.
