Do you think their caluclators are accurate and do you believe the money really gets where they claim it does?

I just found out that TerraPass is a for-profit organization; their credability just fell quite a bit with me. I don't think I will be making a contribution but instead will take that $ and buy some CFL lights for my home. The calculators are interesting though.

Do you have any reason to doubt the accuracy of their emission calculators? From what I read a lot of research and trial goes into their production.

~~ They do have a return policy, which sounds fairly reasonable. The following is from their website:

TerraPass return policy
TerraPass stands behind its products.
That's why we offer a 100% money-back guarantee.
If you are dissatisfied with your TerraPass purchase for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.

~~ As for the claims of their profits going into renewable energy projects such as wind farms, I can only hope it is true.
Would they be able to make such blatant and public claims if they were not true?

Have you had a good look around their website?
There is some good information to be found, particularly the FAQs.
~~ They do seem above board~~
