Someone please show me how I can make a simple satellite to capture television waves well. Easy to find materials. My home is rural Kenya and we have a problem with getting tv stations. Some people opt for cable tv but we cannot afford. Someone please explain how to make one simple good satellite. You can contact me personally if you are willing.

My cousin's Laney amp is making a staticy crackling noise constantly, if it is just switched on you can hear the noise and it continues through even when playing. We took apart the control panel and tubes from the main body of the amp but have no idea what we're looking for. Could anyone with some experience let us know what it could be and how or if we could fix it at home?

In My room i have a computer cord with a tv, dvd and a playstation 2 but i shut toff the cord when i'm not watching tv. i also have a air conditioner plug into a different plug outlet and finally my cell phone charger and plug for my laptop.

I want to use a digital voice recorder in class and then be able to take whats been recorded, hook it up to my pc and have my pc be able to translate that into text. I don't want have to manually t ype it.

I need to tranform some vhs tapes into dvds. However, it's an entire series and the episodes in the vhs tapes are not in order. Thus, I want, while recording some episodes, to leave the dvd disc open so that I can put them in order, without needing to use lots of dvd discs in order to transform episode by episode. Is this possible? Can the dvd disc remain open and continue recording from the point you've left the previous episode? By the way, as long as durability is concerned, which are the most persistent in time; dvds or vhs tapes?

I need to know if i buy a different phone but same brand and ghz. Because i havent found one that looks like my phone does anyone know if it will work because i need a cordless to work in my room and we only have a phone jack in one room in the house. and i dont want to spend 50 dollars on two phones when i only need one! also if you dont think it will work give me some links of phones under 50 for a dock and set. I can't figure out what is better. I really want the BBC series "Planet Earth" or "Deep blue" and i heard the blue ray is awesome BUT it is missing some footage. so is HD. but dvd isnt that good of a quailty. can you really tell the difference? i have a PS3 so i figure i have a blue ray disc player...why not use it. but is it that much better than a regualar dvd that costs quite a bit less? just curiouse. I do want the best quality...i just want to know if it is noticeable.

John Doe goes into walmart with a printed out barcode for something cheap like hand sanitizer. He puts that barcode over the barcode of a higher priced item, then pays for it. He then goes back to the store, takes off the fake barcode and gets a refund. I read about this on a website, but it doesn't make sense. Wouldnt the receipt have the info from the product of the fake barcode???? How do he get the refund?

My mom's girlfriend gave us her old digital camera it's like 2 years nothing wrong with it, but it didn't turn on. I went and bought new batteries but it still wasn't working. The old batteries inside of it said digital camera batteries. This might sound stupid, but there is no difference between the 2 right?

checked all remote buttons, fine, it started to skip before it went into very fast play. Just bought it a month ago, so it's still new. RCA VCR/dvd combo. even tried a cleaner tape and it ran very fast too. Help, any tips how I can get it to play normal again?
