the problem is with my dvd player. I'll try and keep it short. I have a Akai tv vcr dvd combo and I put in a really scratched dvd but i didnt know it was scratched until i took it out and saw it at a different angle. so the dvd broke the player. I took it down stairs before the tv repair guy came to fix it and I guess the way i took it down the stairs fixed it because I tried it again just for the heck of it and i put in a dvd and it worked! I was shocked so i took it right back up it worked fine for a while then it broke again so i put it on my bed to mimic the rocking motion that i did taking it down stairs and it worked! So it keep braking then I would do that rocking motion and it would work It broke today so i tried it again and it didnt work I tried for probably 1/2 an hour then i gave up I really like this tv and the vcr still works so i dont wanna get rid of it. there must be something out of alignment that wont go back. so if i can fix it my self that would be great thanx

Ok, I use CraziVideo to convert my videos and put them on my psp. When I watch the videos, the picture is ok and it has good sound. But, when I watch it a second time the picture is all messed up and I cant see a thing, but the sound is still good. What do you think is wrong?

Is there a device you can use to wirelessly hook up a computer via USB or an Ethernet port to the internet. I have a wireless router, and would like to receive the signal, I don't want to use a wireless card, so I hope there's something else out there.

I have bought cheaply a good amplifier and speakers. However, only two of the four input jacks give clear output to the speakers. I am wondering if there is a gadget which will allow putting more than one input device through a good set of jacks, and switching between devices?

I've got a pretty schnazzy pc and monitor but when i play DVD's on it, the picture quality is rubbish compared to a TV. I am presuming it is my DVD player (the one in my PC) that is just not as good as a normal one (ie- a panasonic in the livingroom). Can I attach my TFT monitor to a seperate DVD player and still get good quality? the monitor is a HP 19" widescreen and retailed at £160. The monitor has got two ports round the back of the monitor (VGA and DVI).
Thank you for any help!

I am trying to figure out why my newly ran coaxial cableing wont carry a signal. I ran it down a chase, that I had previously had put in when my house was being built. The chase runs from a loft to the basement. I finished the loft and I also have 3 Romex electrical wires running down to the circuit braker box.

My question is, does the electricity ruin the Cable ( or satellite signal)
