I am the proud owner of a new 22" monitor. I opted for the cheaper of two monitors with features that I was looking for. The first had a composite (rca) video input, but the second did not and cost $130 less. I was wondering if anyone knew of an inexpensive way to hook up a VCR or digital cable box to the monitor? (I don't have any kind of HD anything, so using the DVI to plug into an HD connection is out of the question)

I suppose the person with the cheapest solution will get "best answer"

When i connected it to my t.v no sound came out and i was foced to put back the red and yellow audio cables. I dont know a single thing about Hd tv's. i bought the cables because they will improve my sound in my games. what should i do?

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 digital camera, and I'm getting ready to do some traveling in rather remote areas. I want to be able to charge my batteries (Li-Ion) with a solar charger or another device without having to find a wall outlet to plug into.

I figure the only way this would be possible is by using an adapter connected to a solar charger that can plug into the DC port on my digital camera. But does this port actually charge the batteries or just run the camera off of that power?

Or, is there another way for me to charge my Li-Ion batteries with solar power or something similar?

Has anyone else dealt with a similar issue before?

Thanks for you help!

I bought a new tv last year that has three video outputs (red, green, and blue) and two audio (red and white). The dvd player I have has two audio (the same and they work just fine), but only two video (red and yellow). Is there a component out there to fix the video conversion, or should I get a new dvd player.

FYI, my friend is letting me borrow his DVD player, so if it doesn't work, I can just as easily go buy a cheap dvd player without losing any money.

I have a Norelco ladies shaver that started pulling hairs out instead of shaving the hairs like it's supposed to. The shaver is clean and the battery charge is perfect. The shaving foil doesn't look worn.

What may cause a shaver to start pulling hairs out? Does it have anything to do with the shaving foil or the cutter block or something else? I'd hate to buy a new shaving foil and cutter block only to find out that the shaver is still pulling hairs...then I've lost money on replacement parts.

Thanks for any help.

I have an old 8mm video camera that I want to use to transfer to DVD but I can't find the original ac/dc adapter for it. I have one for another camera with the same amperage (2A) but the adapter puts out 7.4 V instead of the 6V rated for the camera I want to run. How close do I have to get in voltage [assuming the polarity matches] without causing serious damage? What if I used a cheap wall-wart that puts out 6V but only a measly 300mA?

There is a device out there called the Mosquito that emits a sound that only people between 14-25 can hear. It's super annoying so it gets rid of loiterers and stuff.
My question is can you hear this sound and how old are you?

we recently bought some cctv camera's and recorder. everything works... the only trouble my electrician is having (yes he's from india) is how to connect the BNC connectors (which goes to the back of the camera) to the coaxial cable.

can anyone decribe to me how to do it?

the way we did it is to strip away the plastic cover to an inch, flip back the sheild so it goes over the plastic cover, then cut half an inch off the insulator, leaving the core wire exposed. then we just pushed and screwed it into the back of the connector. now.. it all looks good. but once the camera was plugged and seen, the quality was VERY BAD. not how it suppose to be.

NOTE: there is no interferance with other cables and the distance is not a problem (as we tested it with a 20cm cable). all camera's are working 101% as was tested before purchase.

are we doing anything wrong. please advise. Thanks in advance.

Is it legal for a manufacturer to not have a functional part before 7 years of the part being produced? Meaning, say you ordered a TV a few years ago from Sony, Well, the knob broke, so you call Sony and ask them to send you a new knob and they say they don't make it anymore, but it's only been a year. Is this legal?

hey, we are doing a project at my school that we have to solve a problem. we decided to create an inexpensive remote control that uses radio frequency instead of I.r. we need to know how many people have a problem with objects getting in the way of the recievers for standard remote controls. if you could help us out that would be great. even if you could give me a website were i could post a free survey it would help a lot.
thanks, jeremy
