i am installing small polk audio speakers on my computer and im not hearing anything. what should i do to fix the problem????

check the audio cables connection.if they r ok,check ur sound card in ur pc.good luck.

first, check to make sure that the cables are in the right wholes, and they are all pluged in. Then, make sure that your sound on your speakers is turned on. Then make sure that nothing is muted on your computer. If it all checks out, make sure that there is no software that needs to be installed. Then read your owners manual. If all of that checks out, make sure that your sound card didn't get uninstalled during the process. when you open up the sound and audio devices icon under my control panel, can you change any of the settings? if so, its probably not your audio card. if not it is your audio card. email me if you have any questions.

check your audio drivers if its working... if the speaker you have came with a CD then try installing its contents... if theres none update your audio driver... or check if your pluging your speaker on the right jack ;)

you have to make sure that the color of the wore for the speakers are im the right color area in the back of your computer. you have to make sure its pluged in the right place and plugged all the way in. than make sure that the wires on the back of the speakers are pluged in and are pluged in the right way and right spot. make sure the power is pluged in, and everything! if everything is pluged in and in the right place and still nothings coming out of it, maybe its the speakers! i hope i can help
