I got a medical DVD with workbook that is compulsary for uni - it shows us how to do basic procedures like blood pressure or whatever.

All my other DVDs play in full colour normally but this one is playing black and white. the book says it should be colour coded for us to move between different topics.

so it shud be colour.
i dont know what to do its hard to examine things like temperature charts that are colour coded and understand what they are talking about if its black and white i cant see the colours

I don't get why this happens, is this the electric company trying to play jokes?
Well this is the second time in a 6 day period this happened, the power went out. For no reason, it was not because of anything in the house, I don't know if anyone near by had the same problem. Then soon the power came back, I was relieved for 3 seconds, then it goes out, then on again. Then today at like 9:01pm, the power goes out, then a few minutes later, back on again, then out, then on, then out, then now fully on.What is wrong?

Hi there, i have a toshiba satellite pro 4600 laptop, and i am curious to why when i record things, either using a microphone or plugging a double ended heaphone jack wire from my mic socket into the headfones on my amplifier, i find a strange sorta clicky squeaky noise that happens every so often on the recording playback.

It may also be noted that the exact same noise happens when i use headphones or speakers into the headfone socket.

Im rather puzzled and im tryin to record a mix, with not much satisfaction.HELP!!!!

ill update this question accordingly if people need to know other details.

Is this a good idea? And will it even work? I'm gonna send someone a pic over the internet of my fiance' and I and have her photoshop it a lil and put a lil message on it. Then I am gonna save it somehow and take it somewhere and get it blown up and printed and framed. Is this even possible and does it sound good? He's mentioned before he wants a picture of us for his room since all we have are cell pics and a couple digital camera pictures.

I have an Olympus WS-300M voice recorder (link http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1193&fl=4 )
and saw that the sampling rate for both HQ and Stereo HQ are 44.1 kHz, but the frequency response for the stereo HQ is 100-15,000 Hz versus 100-12,000 Hz for HQ. I am just using this to record lectures, and was curious if using double the memory would result in significantly better recordings, also taking into consideration that two microphones are incorporated in lieu of one.

What does it mean if it has to be dvd+r compatable?

i just bought this dvd collection from limitedclassics.com and it said the dvd was Format-Free DVD+R (Plays in both PAL and NTSC DVD players). what does that mean? it said it had a dvd menu , professionally authored, but the dvds come in sleeves not in a case. does that mean that they are burned dvds like the ones you can buy at walmart and burn a movie to? Also it said Production Method: Converted episodes from Gen. 1 vhs tapes to DVD video on commercial equipment, DVDs professionally authored. what does this mean? i payed 54 dollars for the 3 seasons bc you cant find this season anywhere else. what does it mean?
