You can use it provided you purchase an adapter. In some countries, the three pins in a plug are flat and round in shape in some other countries like India. Not only that, the round size itself may vary( I mean the diameter).Adapters are available to over come this problem. You can purchase and use it.
There is one more important thing you have to see.All electrical appliances in India work on 230 Volts AC whereas 110 volts is used in some other countries like USA.If you use an instrument which works on 110 volts in India it will be immediately burnt. You have to purchase a converter which converts 110 volts into 230 volts. In many instruments ,provision is made to change between these two values. In that case you need not purchase a converter. You can put the switch (which is given to change between these two values) in the appropriate position and use it.
