What device can play AVI files?

Question

Is there anything different that a PC that can play AVI files? Any PDA's or DVD players? I am looking for something preferably with its own screen, but it is not a must. Thank you.

You should be able to transfer your AVI files to a disc (CD or DVD) and most any DVD player should play them. It is not a very unique codex and has been around a long time. At worst case you can convert them on your PC to mpegs or wav files.
