I downloaded movies and burned them to blank dvd+ recordable and tried to play it on my dvd player but it is not playing, instead it is saying this dvd can't be played or insert dvds.

what's the problem?

the movies i burned from my PC will play on my pc but it won't play on my dvd players, i got 2 dvd players and both won't play the dvds i just borned on my pc.

the dvd is- DVD+ R.

when I insert the dvd disk in the dvd player, it says this disk can't be player and the other dvd player will say change disk.

what's the problem?
help me fix this problem.

It is probably not the disc itself, but the format that the data is in. DVD players require the data to be in a very specific format - yes the video is MPEG2, but the video must be broken into .VOB files of 1GB or less each, etc. The computer can play even if not in this format.

Many DVD burning programs (I use Nero) will convert standard video to DVD player format. There are also some freeware programs that may help - Try DVD Shrink
