I am looking for a vintage style mulit-CD player with a remote control. I have been very unlucky in finding one of these does anyone know where I can get one?

I would begin by looking at pawn shops and stores that sell used electronics. They are usually small businesses and you would be able to negotiate prices. If this doesn't work, there's always plenty of sites on the internet such as eBay and craigslist.com to search, although you might have to pay shipping. Hope this helps...

If you're looking for antique vintage-style CD players (circa 1930's) then there's a site that has some here:

Although, you may be hard-pressed to find a multi-disc unit with remote.

i got a vintage style toaster at a thrift store. i looked it up and it was from the 30's! except it doesnt work, on account of its so friggin old.
