I need to get an adaptor to convert a Canadian mains plug to a UK one. I know they exist, but cant seem to find one on Google, or ebay... not sure if the search terms I am using are right, or maybe you can reccomend a UK site? Thanks!

I was trying to use my bathroom as an echo chamber. I placed a speaker from the music I had recorded in one end with a mic on the other end of the room going back into the recorder.
What's the correct way to do this without getting feedback?
A book on analouge recording didn't really explain it much except on how to build one.

well, my camera sucks up batteries like its candy and my mom refuses 2 buy rechargable b/c hers blew up last time. is there any ways at all for charging batteries at home/ ppl told me the freezer method but it never worked.

She won't let me have one because she doesn't know if people can see me through the internet. I told her they can't unless I let them and she still won't let me have one. i want to record programs from my Tv tuner card. it gives me two options first Mpeg and second Divx.
and second options are DVD or DVD long play.
which capture method i should use for best recording ?
divx or mpeg ?

I recently purchased a small device for gardening that can read light levels and the PH and moisture levels in soil. Since it does not use any batteries (including no in-built battery) how does it work? Can it determine moisture content through a chemical process? The meter just has two metal probes that are stuck into the soil.

the other day it wouldnt release my dvd for some reason, so i forced it out and ive broke the dvd inserter, now it wont go fully in and its stuck half way, do you have any idea of how i can mend it with out sending it off?

I want to run straight into my S/PDIF Output to my home surround speakers w/o hooking all my speakers into the sound card because they are "bare" wires. Can I run off input / output jacks? I am using RCA 's (red and white) from S/PDIF to Aux on 5.1 Dolby Surround System. There's not enough info in the instruction manual to go by. Does anyone know enough about Soundcards to help me? Like to make it work properly. Please advise.

Was thinking i'd get this from my mom, and besides the grankids, scan a bunch of pictures of the family when we were kids. However, not so put off by the high price, but more that thinking this price will come down dramatically in the next year or so, even by xmas.

Thoughts on the price? or the gift idea itself?

Hi Can you help me please?

I have a Panasonic DVD model No DMR-ES30VEB which has the facility to copy VHS TO DVD this I can do no problem But... then My problem come up that I can only play the recorded DVD on the Panasonic DVD - when I put the disc in my Computer it says it is clean, or in another DVD player ( a tv combi) just comes up reading disc
I have tried two types of disc, a Phiilps DVD+R and Panasonic DVD -RW

Help would really be apreciated
