I need to get an adaptor to convert a Canadian mains plug to a UK one. I know they exist, but cant seem to find one on Google, or ebay... not sure if the search terms I am using are right, or maybe you can reccomend a UK site? Thanks!

Canada is the same pin type as the US. You can get one from Maplins, but dont just plug in a Canadian appliance as it will be rated at 120 volts and UK is 240 volts. UNLESS you first look at the rating label, if it is a laptop or razor and some other items it MAY be marked 120-240volt 50/60 Hz. If not you will have to geta step DOWN transformer 240/120volt of a suitable power rating.
