Depending on the quality of the motion sensor, the size of the TV and the distance between the detector and TV. Typically speaking, no it wouldn't unless the TV gets really hot and there is air movement around it. Best thing is, if you are unsure, test it.
I have seen odd things set off motion detectors, these have included sunlight, fireplaces, furnaces, fax machines, heaters etc. Even something as small as a fly can set a detector off if it is right on the lens.
Most motion detectors are tripped by changes in infrared energy, modern detectors do have more processing ability which enables them to differentiate (To a point) whether an object is human. The reason I say to a point is because it does not know what a human looks like, just an approximate shape and movement pattern.
For more information on motion detectors, how they work and security alarm system questions in general, I have quite a number of articles on my website at http://www.KeepSafeSystems.ca. The false alarm section would probably most apply to this question.
