I have a Citizen watch with eco-drive and it has recently stopped ticking. About how much would it cost to have a new battery put in it.

Hi there! We sell Citizen Eco-Drive watches, and the "secondary" battery that is inside is not to be replaced. As a previous person responded, you have to charge it with the sun and/or kinetic movement. If you change this "secondary" battery, the watch will not work at all.

Hope it works out for you!

okay heres what you do. Pull the winder all the way out, leave it in sunlight for a day or so,
reset the time, and push the winder back in the watch should go

solar power, or kinetic power is supposed to recharge the watch dependent on type

Probably around $20.00 dollars unless it's the divers type which would need to be pressure tested after the new battery is fitted which will cost about $20.00 more.

The lack of light source during the night could explain this. According to Wikipedia, it should eventually reset to the proper time. This would be without you resetting it. If this does not work, then you should contact the seller or company about the problem.
