the issue is that rech bat have a lower terminal volt than reg bat.

reg 1.55v
rech 1.3v

some devices won't work at that voltage.

then again not to many of them

I use NiMH in most of my electronics. I haven't had an issue yet. Actually I also haven't had a leak yet, either, which to me is more important. Nothing worse than corrosion on a battery spring, lol.

no u can't.
They usually write weather u can use rechargable batt. or not in the manual of the appliance.
