Digital Voice Recorder - How to Get Whats Recorded to Text on PC?

Question

I want to use a digital voice recorder in class and then be able to take whats been recorded, hook it up to my pc and have my pc be able to translate that into text. I don't want have to manually t ype it.
What would I need to do or get? e.g. software?
