Do you mean a company called Lojack that will locate your stolen car for you? Yes, this service exists. See the link below.
Do you mean a device to find a lojack transmitter in a car? A bug detector might work but as I understand it the lojack system isn't on until the car is reported stolen. The company then turns it on to locate the vehicle. Until the transmitter is on there is no signal to locate it.

You can get a lojack detector from the internet but it won't help u locate the lojack on your car until the lojack is activated.
This means you'd have to report your vehicle as stolen such as leaving it in a secluded area then use your detector to find the lojack once the company activates it.
Then phone in to cancel the stolen report by saying you hadn't realised your friend had borrowed it.
People who steal rental cars using a false or counterfeit id use this technique to locate lojacks.
