Someone please show me how I can make a simple satellite to capture television waves well. Easy to find materials. My home is rural Kenya and we have a problem with getting tv stations. Some people opt for cable tv but we cannot afford. Someone please explain how to make one simple good satellite. You can contact me personally if you are willing.

you have access to the internet, just buy a satellite dish on ebay. you can get them dirt cheap. probably cheaper than you could make one for.

It sound like u are talking about making an antenna. Please note that u need the whole system, not just the antenna. The TV doesn't receive these signals.

To make just the antenna involve very accurate curving of the reflector and measurement and placement of the driven element.

Then there is the receiver, not an simple home project.

I assume u are talking about the large dish and not the DTV or other small dish as those will also require a per month fee.

here in the US they give the receivers away for u to sign up and pay every month.

If u have over the air stations there, an antenna for that is a project u could tackle. The TV will receive those signals.
There is info on the net for "log periodic antennas".
