checked all remote buttons, fine, it started to skip before it went into very fast play. Just bought it a month ago, so it's still new. RCA VCR/dvd combo. even tried a cleaner tape and it ran very fast too. Help, any tips how I can get it to play normal again?

You should still be under warranty. Return it to where you bought it. I could fix it , but I am no longer an RCA consumer warranty center. Did 15 yrs with RCA Service Co. , most of them in management, but started as a TV tech.

BEFORE YOU RETURN IT TAKE THE BATTERIES OUT OF THE REMOTE AND USE MANUAL BUTTONS--TRY MORE THAN ONE TAPE
