I have a uniden 2.4 GHz cordless phone if i buy another cordless of the same brand will they work together??

I need to know if i buy a different phone but same brand and ghz. Because i havent found one that looks like my phone does anyone know if it will work because i need a cordless to work in my room and we only have a phone jack in one room in the house. and i dont want to spend 50 dollars on two phones when i only need one! also if you dont think it will work give me some links of phones under 50 for a dock and set. Thanks

no....only the registered extension will work!

some phones are "expandable". IE, another handset will work from the existing base - as many as 4 handsets per base.
Some only come with 2 handsets as the one I have.

If u buy two phones each with a base, then they operate independently. U can connect them to the same phone line but they don't interact.

Walmart is the best option I have found for phones.

hello direct is pricey, but they have a lot of neat stuff.
