The Nazis, for use in their mobile support operations, originally developed microwave "radiomissor" cooking ovens to be used for the invasion of Russia.
They actually WILL hurt you if you come into contact with the waves. Microwave radiation is odorless and invisible and therefore hard to detect. Microwave oven radiation is present whenever a microwave oven is turned on. The microwave energy causes the water molecules in the food to vibrate rapidly. This rapid vibration produces heat which, in turn, cooks the food. It can also penetrate through living tissue which is why exposure is harmful to our health. Once you turn off the oven, the microwaves disappear but until then, you may be exposing yourself to dangerous levels of radiation leakage.
A survey conducted among the Professional Service Associates, a group of microwave repair servicemen, indicated that over 56% of microwave ovens two years or older leaked levels of radiation 10% higher than the safety standards set by the FDA.
The most common malady caused by a leaky microwave oven is skin cancer.

All forms of radiant energy within the electromagnetic spectrum are considered radiated energy or radiation, this includes are wavelengths of light, radio wavelengths, etc. A microwave uses a high powered device called a magnetron to emit very high powered radio waves in the UHF and above wavelengths which cascade and bounce off the walls of your microwave to be absorbed by the moisture in your food, as the water molecules are excited they move very rapidly creating heat which is radiation in the far-infrared spectrum and we all know that there is a huge difference between heat and rods of plutonium. The type of radiation that I think you are refering to is beta radiation and x-ray radiation whch both are dangerous based on dosage as with any radiation.

I'm so sorry for what you are having to go through! I know that there is a "lotion" called Bag Balm (it's actually in a tin and inside is a bag with the "lotion" in it). This has done wonders for radiation burns...but on the skin, not inside. I do not know what to use inside. I know adhesion's really hurt and cutting could make more; however, maybe the adhesion's that would be made from cutting would be less than what is inside from the burning? I have a few friends that have undergone radiation and are having to do it now so I will ask them if they know of anything to help the burning inside. If so, I'll get right back on here and let you know! The power of knowledge that comes with living through it is so much greater than learning from a doc, sometimes! Bless you and prayers are coming for you!

Microwaves are simply VERY high-frequency radio waves - once you turn the power source off, they don't stay in the food any more than they stay in a radio. Microwaves are NOT nuclear radiation - completely different sort of thing.

it does but in a different way than atomic radiation.
it doesn't build up. It affects u when u are exposed.
atomic radiation accumulated in your body and affects u when it gets to high levels.
