Hello, I have an olympus digital camera FE220, it was recently purchased; I left the camera on a high surface while the lens was out and the camera fell to the ground!

Now the lens seems stuck, it wont zoom in/out, hence wont take pictures. The lens is like jammed due to the impact.

HELP. I HAVENT TOLD MY PARENTS YET. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

Well I bought my camera a few months ago, and I accidentally dropped it (mistakes happen) and the lens won't come out and it won't take pics or anything. It turns on and goes to the HP screen then turns off. It's not dead, I tried charging it. The lens will not open.

If I send it into HP, how long would it take for them to fix it?

I need it back by the 30th of november, I'm going to see All Time Low in NYC.

BTW its HP Photosmart R967

I am looking at the Fujifilm S700 model. I really like the features. I like that it has a resistance to vibrations and movements and allows pictures that may be in movement become clear. Is there a camera like this one that you would recommend? I do not like this one because it takes AA as a power supply. I do not want to spend more than $250. I take a lot of pictures. A lot of the pictures are landscape, nature, and then of course the usual hanging with friends, concerts ect...

last summer, i had a very crappy camera (it would only let me take about 10 pictures and then i had to erase and start over)that i took to camp and my mom sent me a 64 MB card. when i put that card in, it would still only let me take about 5 pictures so i got a new camera. the other day, i found that card and completely forgetting that it didn't work, i put it in my camera to see what was on it. now, my 1 GB card will only let me take 9 pictures.

i'm going out of town next week and i would really love to have my camera to take pictures with... can anyone help me? is it possible for my camera to have a virus? and what can i do to get rid of it?

please and thank you

I am getting it for my wife, who is studying photography. I am getting two lenses, but I really am confused which are better. Is a Nikon 18-55 mm lense better than a 18-135 mm? And is a Tamron 70-300 mm lense better than a Nikon 70-300 mm lense? I was told that for the first lense, the 18-55 mm lense was faster than the 135 mm. For the later, I was told that the Tamron had auto capabilities, and the Nikon 70-300 only had manual adjustments. Does this sound right? Thanks for any advice.

I bought a camera form fingerhut in the states. I got it a few days later, getting the two year extended waranty, a memory chip for it, a tripod, bateries. I inserted the memory card and I recieved 2000 some photos I can take. I take a few and turn it off. Then turn it on and it says I can only take 18 photos and the pics that i took erlyer are no longer there. The cam being on I take out the memory chip and it says I can take one photo. I reinsert the chi[p and back to 18 photos with none in memory. Well i try turning it off then on, off then on, and after a while I get the photos I took and the 2000 some pictures I can take like it was before. But what is happening?!?!?!? Why?

Well, we just bought a nice Kodak Z612 digital camera in May of this year. We dropped it not long ago and now the lens does not retract back into the camera and it will not turn on.

Since we dropped it, the warranty is void. It would cost $145 +tax to get the thing fixed!! Ridiculous!

I would like to have a repair manual so that I can repair it myself. I am very good with electronics repair, so I am confident that I can fix it if I had a manual to reference.

Ok this may sound a little crazy but........Does the actual camera develop good pictures or is it the sim card.......Im about to get a new camera and i love the picture quality from the camera that i have now(Kodak, easyshare) i dont know if i should stick with the same camera of if its the actual sim card.......Cause you take the sim card out of the camera and put it in the machine in wal-mart. Please dont think im crazy!

Thanks

I have a fuji v10 camera and for some reason the Lens won't close. It's practically brand new and this is the first time it ever happened. When powered on it says focus error, and when i turn it off, the lens doesn't close. I tried pushing it and banging it a little bit, but nothing helped. Is there another way to fix this problem or am i basically gonna have to buy a new camera.

My pictures come out blurry and a common problem is that the flash is washing out the appearances of faces and just everything in general. I wait until the light turns green to snap my picture and it's still not the best. I read the book saying you can adjust the contrast/brightness/ but then it's too dark. I had a kodak and loved it, till the screen went black. (old and heavily used camera) What to do? Any tips?

I am shopping for a digital camera? what do I look for in buying a camera. Higher pixels? I want something fast and can take picture after picture and you don't have to wait 20secs to take the next picture. Also with no delay. Any advice would help?

Even after taking the batteries out, the screen is vaguely on. It's almost like a ghost light , the logo's faintly showing and there's a line through it. After a while, the logo goes away, but there are a bunch of lines running through it. This is the second GE A730 I've had in three months. Is this specific camera just really sucky?

In itself, the idea of changing Canon’s favorite 1/2.5” sensor size to bigger is great. Nevertheless, in case of Canon G9, SD950 and A650 large 1/1.7 inch sensor has a trouble. Its useless 12 extra pixels with not needed 4000 x 3000 resolutions bring in superfluous sensor noise (for example look at G9 user’s opinion: ‘horrendous image noise above 200 ISO’ or my http://fototramp.blogspot.com/2007/11/canon-powershot-g9-sd950-and-a650-can.html). There’s nothing to be done, trying to put more pixels into the sensor a mfr has to make a pixel smaller. As a result, the sensor becomes warm and makes an image noisy. Please, express your one's opinion.

Is it possible to only have film negatives created at a major retailer? I'm not interested in having pictures printed, just having the negatives processed. All I want to do is use my 35mm camera to take pictures and then scan the negatives into my computer.
