It is a digital camera used for taking pictures.

I think it has eraser shavings and very small dog hairs on the lense.

Odd...

Thanks

What is the best camera for taking pictures indoor and taking closeups without a flash that's too bright? I try to take closeups for myspace but the camera I use always makes my face really pale and you can't see where my nose is!

I can't find many reviews of their cameras. Specifically I'm looking at the vivtar 5355 5 MP. I've googled and cannot find much information. They have some good deals but I do not want to buy crap just because it's cheap.

I want to make a purchase of a "good quality" camera for an upcoming study abroad trip. I want one that can still take good pictures without a flash in dim light..if possible. I am willing to pay up to 300. What can I get the most bang for my buck with.

all input appreciated

thanks

I've been researching for my new camera and am interested in the Canon Rebel. What do you think of it and/or what is your camera of choice. I'm also looking into lenses, any ideas?

i am going to start learning photography as i am a beginner in this field, i am not much aware of cameras also. So far i have read online reviews and other books for camera and i am looking for DSLR camera for me to give best performance. now i have two options which i want to buy between.
first Nikon D40x or nikon D80.
i am quit confused which one to buy. it is difficult for me to give judgement. i need advise from professional people which one to buy for best suit to me and why ? i heard there is a lens attachement difference between them, but i would like to ask you that i am not gonna buy costliest lenses in future for atleast two or three years till i go professional.

I know Canons are supposed to be good, but they are way out of my price range.

What would be the next best thing, for cheaper?

I'm into photography, but I don't have a lot of money.

Does anyone know any good Canon cameras that are under $300?

I'm sorry, but I'm only looking for Canon cameras. Nothing else.

Need to move to a SLR camera - looking for something in the mid-range ($500/600) if that is doable. Want to use it for everyday type indoor/outdoor use - as well as fast action sporting events in gyms. The later is where I have had problem getting clear pictures w/ previous digital cameras. Also - need some ease of use. As a busy working mom I don't have time to read a 200 page book on how to use the camera. Basically striving for a good all around camera w/ clear pics from wrestling season this year. Have been considerign teh Nikon D40 but wonder if it will do enough for me.
