I was thinking about getting this camera but i wanted to know if its a good one. And is the price good. Its on sale for $269.00. I know its kinda bulky but i dont mind the size. I want a camera that will be good for actions shots. My boyfriend and i dirtbike and i really want a camera with a decent shutter speed. Let me know please!!

I am not much on Cannon... I personally like Nikon or Kodiak better...
But this camera seems like it would be good for what you are needing it for.

it's pretty decent but not what you need... optical zoom is more important then mega pixels. go for 12x or higher and most important for taking action shots is an anti-shake feature. oh and of course a fast shutter speed as you mentioned. I'm sure canon or nikon makes what you need.

I like the Sony products. They offer a range of types of cameras and have built in abilities to take short movie clips. It's great. They're easy to use and it's a great brand!

I would look for a Canon that has a viewfinder, too. Having only a display is sometimes hard to use in sunlight. Good to get one that uses AA batteries as this does, but with only a display, it will use them up faster.

You really can do better than that one. It is okay..but if you want great action look for a 10MP!
The brand is great..take a look at Olympus and Pentax before you buy. I have two and the Pentax touchscreen rocks!
