I'm into photography, but I don't have a lot of money.
Does anyone know any good Canon cameras that are under $300?
I'm sorry, but I'm only looking for Canon cameras. Nothing else.

Good choice with canon, there a solid camera. Here is a link to the powershoot 1000. From everything I have heard and read it apperas to be a very nice camera and its only $200 so you will have a little left over

If you want something really flexible with interchangeable lenses and good quality, you will want as a minimum something in the Canon Digital Rebel series. Under $300 is a bit of a problem with this series of camera. I suggest you look for something used (eBay is a good place to look) or be prepared to spend more money (from $700 and up) for a new camera in this series. In my relatively successful commercial business I use Canon 5D camera bodies which are in the $3000.00+ price range new and are excellent!

Go to a store and see what is available right now. Make sure it has a viewfinder and uses AA batteries.
