It looks too small to be a 30D, and it looks like a mode dial there near the shutter button. Also although I can't read the model label in the front of the camera, it is visible and positioned on the lower part of the body so... I'm guessing either the Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) or the XTi (400D).

Just so you know, this kind of camera is an advanced camera and you need to know about photography to be able to use it properly. Lots of people in Y!A keeps asking question about setting on their DSLRs because they think having a nice camera like that will automatically let you shoot great picture.

Since it's a picture taken in a mirror, if you reverse it, you can read the Canon logo. The rest of the camera is completely in the dark, so it's just a guess as to which DSLR model she's using....

what difference does it make? if you want that camera based on that photo, you probably don't know much about photography.
