I have a Pentax k110 and i'm in dilemma as to which i should buy first, an external flash or a lens. could anyone help as to which should be prioritized?

Also another question i need help with the circular digital polarizing filter. Hoya's the only compatible filter for pentax right? If so, where can i get good and cheap ones?

Flash or lens....it really depends on how you use your camera. For my personal use, I would recommend a lens. More lenses gives you a lot more flexibility.

Check ebay for lowest prices on filters.

If you're happy with the lens you have and don't feel limited by it, then buy the flash Pentax recommends for the K110D. A good off-camera flash bracket is also good to have. Pentax probably offers one and there are several after-market ones available.

In my part of the world (USA) the weather is keeping us indoors more so a flash is handy to have. Plus, one of our major holidays (Thanksgiving) is fast approaching and then it will soon be Christmas.

Any circular polarizer will work. Hoya, Tiffen and B+W are excellent brands I've used for years. Shop ebay but don't expect to find cheap quality polarizers. (Ever notice how seldom "cheap" and "quality" appear in the same sentence?)
