Hello, I have an olympus digital camera FE220, it was recently purchased; I left the camera on a high surface while the lens was out and the camera fell to the ground!

Now the lens seems stuck, it wont zoom in/out, hence wont take pictures. The lens is like jammed due to the impact.

HELP. I HAVENT TOLD MY PARENTS YET. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

Gravity and water are the leading killers of digital cameras. Your warranty does not cover abuse - dropping the camera or getting it wet. Repairs - at your expense - will likely cost more than a new camera. You can now use the Olympus as a paperweight.

Tell your parents what happened. They can use the money they were going to spend on you for Christmas to buy you a new camera.
