What are the most important features to look for? Since I am a woman and I know nothing about digital cameras,I am afraid that a sales person would just have a field day selling me stuff for my camera that I wouldn't even need! What features are absolutely crucial in owning a digital camera? What kind of memory cards are the best, what things do you look for in purchasing a really nice and easy to use digitial camera?

What brands do you think are the nicest that offer red eye reduction,as well as a possible printer to go with the digital camera too? I just don't want to end up purchasing alot of extra stuff that I wouldn't need for my digital camera! Please tell me what things are necessary to purchase when choosing a good quality digitial camera for under $500.00 dollars. Thank you for all of your help,I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!! ;-)

I find that when I take pictures with my digital camera, my pictures will sometimes have little bubbles/balls of light in them that ruin parts of the picture. Is there something I can do or control on the camera before I take the picture to minimize these?

I accidentally hit the reformat disk button on my digital camera. I had about 300 photos from a vacation on it. I took about 25 more before someone told me it was possible to recover the lost ones and that I should stop taking more photos. Any suggestions?

I have found the following price for the Nikon D80 Digital Camera: $329.00:

http://www.ccicameracity.com/digital-cameras-nikon-nikon-d80.html

If you go to regular camera stores you will find the price is $999.00. I have found some other prices in internet like $768, but the one in CCI Camera City seems too cheap, even if it is after rebate.

Does anyone have any comments, experience with this web site?. Does anyone know where the trick might be?

Thanks and regards
Bernardo

Why is it that when you like on many aviation websites you barely see anyone using a sony alpha 100 and see tons of Canons and Nikons. Does it have to do with the speed or what. THe Sony has Image Stabilization built in which i guess is as good as the lenses of Canon that have IS or Nikors that have VR.
Whats the deal with this?

I've borrowed this carmera from my parents and I stupidly can't figure out how to take a picture. I push the button down and the camera just foceses and refoceses what I am trying to take a picture of.

I should have asked for the manual. If it's this hard to take a picture, this camera might be too advanced for me,

I recently took a 27 exposure disposable camera in for developing.
When I picked up my pictures, I only got the last 15 I took with it.
I complained to the photo lab where I had them developed and they told me my camera was labeled wrong and was only a 12 exposure. It was either that, or the first twelve pictures were all taken on the same negative because the film had jammed. I wouldn't be so upset, but the first twelve pictures were of my pets I tragically lost very close together AND that I think they were lying to me to cover up their mistake. Are these common problems with disposable cameras or was I fed a bunch of bull****?

I am interested in buying a digital camera but I don't understand how the memory card works. Example if a memory card is 512MB what does that mean. How many photos (normal) can be put on the card?
