My digital camera is a samsung a503. I accidently left the macro switch on whilst taking pictures of friends on my birthday. the picture quality is very bad and blurred, im very disapointed and i was hoping there is a way or program i could use to adjust the focus??

Photo-editing software can improve sharpness a little, but from your description these are too bad to fix.

If you want to try:
. Open the pic and adjust Contrast higher
. Then adjust Saturation higher
. Finally, use Unsharp Mask or Sharpen (often in Filters) to sharpen a little before Saving.

Try printing and see if they are good enough (Prints usually look better than a screen view.)

I also suggest that you look for another possible cause for the blurriness. In most digicams, the Macro setting "allows" the camera to focus closer to the subject, but does not disturb "normal" focus distances.

. Was Autofocus set to Monitor? Change to Single

. Are you 1/2 pressing the Shutter Button and giving it time to focus?

. Did the photographer move the camera? Did the subjects move?

. Was the flash turned off?
