I've just bought a Nikon F90X, after switching on, I have a flashing
"FE E" on the digital display, this appears to be preventing the film from loading, and the shutter from firing...anyone have any ideas what this is, and how to cure it?

i have an olympus fe 100 digital camera, which i bought here in ireland, but while on holidays in new york last year i bought a new fugifilm 512mb memory card, it worked fine until the last day of the holiday when all the pictures were showing just a grey screen. when i put the memory card in my pc it was the same, all were showing a grey screen. 2 days later some of the pictures came up on screen, and i can see all of them now but only as thumbnails, if i open the picture its still just a grey screen, please tell me how to sort this as i only have a couple of pictures of a great holiday.

I am trying to decide whether to get a Canon Rebel XTi or a Nikon D80. I have not had that many cameras before but I owned a Canon Rebel Ti for over 5 years. I am very satisfied with it. I want to ask those who have been Canon loyalists, why they decided to switch to Nikon. Also to those who were Nikon loyalists, why did you switch to Canon? I am trying to decide what to do.

I'm looking for a digital camera (not a DSLR because I do not want specific lenses for 1cm macro and a family of expensive lens) that has an excellent Noise to ISO ratio, and at least a 4x zoom or close to it.

Canon would be preferable, but would like to know what people's suggestions are?

Thanks!

I bought Gary Fong's Lightsphere II (cloudy). I was watching the CD that came with the order and it talks about an amber dome that you can place over the lightsphere to help with the tungsten lighting. He kept saying to set your camera on tungsten, but my camera doesn't have such a setting. I have an EOS Canon Rebel X camera and there's no setting for tungsten. I'm wondering if this amber dome will work on such a camera that doesn't have the ability to make a setting to tungsten? will the amber dome correct the tungsten lighting?

I am new to photography and have just bought a second-hand Canon Eos SLR with two lenses and a kit bag for £70.

What I'd like to know is, as I start collecting lenses, film and other ancilliaries, what is the best way to keep them all safe whilst on the move and whilst sat at home for quiet periods? Bearing in mind I am aiming to become a freelance photo-journalist after I have saved up emough for a digital SLR, I'd imagine a large, robust satchel with lots of room would be best- but which one?

Thanks!
